In a world of increasingly finite resources and environmental degradation, it is essential that the discovery vocations of the arts and sciences collaborate to research and innovate new solutions for a future of environmental change. Through my practice, I place art as the translator between chemistry and the viewer, exploring fleeting moments of ‘reaction’ and the alchemical shifts that lead to the transformation, creation, or combination of new and existing forms.

My degree show work consists of live reversible reactions, which through interaction reveal their hidden shape and colour-changing properties, placing the viewer in the role of the catalyst.
